Hey y'all!

I'm so happy that you're here!

I'm assuming most people who stumble upon this page will already know me, but for those of you who don't, my name is Gabriela! I am a Roman Catholic (Franciscan raised and Jesuit educated at Saint Louis University!), lover of coffee, advocate for social justice, and was born in raised in Massachusetts. My favorite thing to do is sit across the table from someone, coffee in hand, and learn new things about life and try to solve the world's problems. When I'm not drinking coffee, I'm usually running, writing, or exploring new places.

I started this blog when I graduated university and moved to Texas to start a year of service as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC). JVC is a year of service program based off the four pillars of Spirituality, Simple Living, Community, and Social Justice.

Since my year of service, I've worked as a partially accredited representative serving immigrants in detention, a summer camp staff director, a barista, and most recently... a teaching assistant in Seville, Spain! Every day holds new adventures, people to love, and things to learn.

Thanks for joining in this journey!
